Is Captivate 2017 compatible with El Capitan? Or Sierra?

Is Captivate 9.0.2.427 or any version of Captivate 9 compatible with Sierra? Everything I've read indicates no, and all that we've tried has shown failure.

Only Captivate 9 products work with El Capitan?

This is confusing! Are you talking about CP2017 or CP9. Latest version is compatible with latest version of iOS, and previous versions. It is only when an OS appears after the release of an application that problems can (but not necessarily do) occur.

Both. We've tried installing CP9 to Sierra OS but will not install. So, wanted to know if CP2017 will work with Sierra OS? I just purchased a new 2017 Mac and need to use Captivate. We have CP 9.0.2.427, and it doesn't install with the new 2017 Mac with Sierra OS. 

So, I needed to know if Captivate 2017 works with this computer?
