Is it possible to turn off just the background music without affecting the voiceover track?

Would like to enable users to select if they want background music in a module.

You can turn off background music for individual slides, yes.

I am sorry, have misunderstood indeed. There is no way to give control over background music to users. That is not even possible for slide audio. The only audio that could be controlled is audio attached to an object, because that audio will disappear if you hide the object.

Lieve,

I think what the original poster is asking is whether USERS could be able to select whether or not the background music was playing when they view the lesson.

In other words, whether or not there could be a button or some other interactive object that executed an action to turn off background music.

And unfortunately the answer would be NO.  Captivate doesn't currently offer this to the end user.
