i have this issue with Captivate 6 where it's telling me that my trail period has expired but my software was and has always been licensed. I tried key-ing in the serial # again but an error telling me I have used the Max allowed computers for that serial #. So i tried deactivating it on my computer but still when i tried the activation process again, the same error message pops out. i tried calling Adobe but i waited in vain (though the IVR told me the wait period is 1-2 min) but didn't get an agent! Anyone who can help me with the predicament please?

Were you by any chance on a Subscription license?

Thank RodWard. No, i don't think so as my serial number's from the box and i don't remember purchasing such type of license as i am not even aware such type of licensing exist for Captivate.

OK.  Then my guess is that this activation licensing issue may be somehow connected with some change made to the licensing system when Captivate 9 came out a few days ago.  I've had similar things happen in years gone by. The older the version of Captivate, the more likely it is to happen.

I think you're going to need to get in touch with Adobe Support and explain the issue. Hopefully they will help you.
