Is it possible to make a podcast-like project using Adobe Captivate?

I don't mean MP3's or have it exported to my iPod or anything. I meant something like what Adobe has on this page (click me).

How can I make that?

    Hi Keith

I'm unaware of any templates. The one you pointed us to in your link would be super easy to achieve, so I'd be surprised if there were a template to do it. If you like, I could pop one over to you as a seed.

The pause play functionality in that one is achieved using the standard Captivate playback controls included in each installation. I'm not sure where you are headed with regards to Captions, as that project seems only to have images and audio. But sure, Captions could be added in if you like. They could appear when and where you choose (within the space used for playback, of course).

    Cheers... Rick

    Welcome to our community, Keith

That appears to have been created using Captivate. Basically, from what I see it was simply a Captivate project containing two slides. One with a button that keeps the Captivate project in a paused state until the user is ready to listen. When clicked, the button moves to slide two. Slide two has pretty much only audio with it. Once the slide completes, the project returns to slide one.

    Cheers... Rick

Hey thanks it's good to see that there's such an activate community for Captivate

What you mentioned crossed my mind, but what about the pause/play functionality, as well as captions? I don't pretend to know the full extent of Captivate, but I'm not sure those can be implimented the way you mentioned.

My basic question is this: Is there a special setting or template to make psudo-podcasts in captivate like the one on their website (click here to see it)?
