Is there a file size limitation for Captivate projects or a maximum number of slides that can be included in a project?

Hi Jay

I've seen others report that Adobe Support is claiming a 50 meg "upper limit" guideline. I've always recommended 50-65 slides as a very broad and general upper limit. That varies of course, depending on several factors. Number of objects on each slide, overall project dimensions, etc.

Cheers... Rick

Oh no, I may be in trouble then....I have a 911 slide Captivate WBT, with a "menu dashboard" on slide two that links to all of the other pieces within the same Captivate file....similar to what you might do in a Power Point preso.

I am working on publishing it as an .EXE and it seems to be working...at least it says it is running....and is now to the part when it is compressing the swf file stream....which seems to be taking forever....but the application says it is still running.

Is there hope that it will make the .exe file? Or am I dreaming and will need to reformat it?

HELP!

Do you know if this is relevant to Captivate 7 and if so is it just a recommendation or is it essential that files don't exceed 50MB?
