We are publishing a executable file trying to replace the "Cp" Icon on the left menu bar with our custom icon/logo? How do we do we do this? We've had no success trying to make this work on the settings window on the publish to my computer. Does it need to be a certain file format? Please help

We are using captivate 9

    Hi there

Looks like you are referring to the Title bar. And for that, I believe that you have an option to control that icon when you compile the EXE file.

From Captivate, click the icon and choose the options to publish as an EXE. Look at the dialog you seen when you choose to publish as an EXE.

Notice that you have an option to supply an icon.

You will also want to review the link below for more. It cannot be just any old ico file. Even though the thread mentions Captivate 4, the same should still apply for version 9.

Custom .exe Icons in Captivate 4

I don't really understand what you mean by 'left menu bar'? Could you post a screenshot?

This is the menu bar of the project after the exe file is launched. We want to swap that green Cp icon to our icon
