Message button not working as programmed

Hi All,

I suspect I've missed something so hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have a drag and drop which when correctly completed brings up a message box which is defined as a button. The action assigned to the button is to move to a specific slide. Unfortunately, when I click on it, it changes colour to indicate its been clicked but doesn't take me to the slide I need to go to.

Ideas?

    How did you test? If you use Preview from this slide, and you hqve to jump to a slide before that slide it will not work neither.

    Yes I did use Preview. So I have to publish before I can see if it works?

    Is the slide that you are trying to jump to BEFORE the drag and drop slide?

    If so, do you have the interaction set to be part of the quiz but also have Allow Backward Movement disabled then your button would not work for that reason.

    Yes the slide is before the drag and drop. The interaction is not part of a quiz - its a stand alone exercise. BTW, using Captivate 8. Perhaps this will work better in 9?
