Mouse won't show on one slide

I have a project where, on most slides, there is mouse movement. On one particular slide, I select for the mouse to show, but it won't. I added it to the previous slide, just in case that was the issue, but it still didn't show up when I selected to show the mouse. I am perplexed. Thanks for any help.

Some more details are missing. Are you talking about a Software simulation in Demo mode?  Was the mouse captured or not? Maybe post some screenshots, and include the timeline of the slide.

I suspect you are using a Captivate Classic version but it would be nice to get a confirmation. You find your version number under Help, About Captivate.

I did the capture using Software Simulation mode with mouse movement. I've attached the version and two slides showing the timeline. I had to blur for proprietary reasons. I hope this helps. Thanks for your help!

You are using the first release of 11.5, and a bug patch did appear very quickly. You should update to 11.5.5.553 which is very stable.

There is no mouse object added to the last long slide. It means that it was not recorded during capture, are you sure that you had mouse movement? It is not a FMR-slide I think, but could you check in the Filmstrip if you see a video icon? You added text captions and a highlight box. The last text asks to click somewhere, which is what would happen when capturing in Training or Assessment mode, but there is no click box. What did you want to do?

I cannot remember which bugs were in that release, too long ago. Maybe the patch will solve the problem.

This slide was a demo in which I did the clicking. Maybe I could just use an image of a mouse this time. Thanks for your help.

You should consider to use Video Demo in that case, the result is much better and the editor has great features for non-destructive editing. Just a tip, I only use simulations in Training or Assessment modes since Video Demo got available with version 6.

I used Training Simulation because it's not only a demo; it includes interactive as well. I got an image of the mouse, included it as an image, and placed it appropriately. It's a good fix for this. Thanks for your help.
