Moving an object to the background

Hi,

I did a video demo on how to multiply two numbers using the Windows calculator. On one slide, I did an opaque rectangle over the calculator and then did move object to background. The text captions have come to the foreground but the calculator still remains hidden behind the frame. I have even tried doing the frame on the Master Slide but still in vain. Could you please help. Thanks.

I did a software simulation, not a video demo. However, can't move the frame to the background showing the calculator.

Can you show some screenshots: slide and timeline? I don't understand quite well what you want to do. The software simulation slides are using the Blank master slide.

Is it that a software simulation does not allow this? If it was just an image then it would come front and the frame would go back. So howcome the text caption and image then have come in front and but not the calculator? Screenshot attached.
