New Captivate crashes when using when using the software simulation Mac

Hi,

Recently I downloaded to new captivate v 12.5.0.35 and tried the software simulations but it's imposible to use. First,  I tried to use the application window mode but it became totally white and unsusable when selected, this happened each time I tried (sreenshot attached).

I figured that I would need to use the other available options but no matter which I choose, at the end of the recordingthe program crashes and an announcement that Adobe Captivate quit unexpectedly appears and the error report (which I attached here).

Any have good advice of how can I make this work? I'm a Mac user (Sequoia 15.3).

Thanks ins advance

I had a similar issue but doing the following resolved it:

Go to system settings -> privacy and security

Search for:

Accessibility - toggle adobe captivate to 'on'

Input Monitoring  - click the plus button and add adobe captivate in applications.

Screen and system recording - toggle adobe captivate to 'on'.

Restart captivate for the changes to take affect.

Hi, thanks for the response, unfortunately this didn't solve the problem. I already had the secutiry settings in place, so something else must be causing it.
