I created a project for a service of university. In this project a tutor talks to the user with speech bubbles. The problem is that there are some usurers reading fast and some reading slow.
The suggestion was, that the user is clicking with the mouse (left-click) and the next speech bubble is shown (known from PowerPoint)
Now the question is how I can implement this in Adobe captivate?
Thank's for help!
Even in that case you can set up states: start with the first speech bubble, add a state which will be a copy from the first, change the shape (right-click menu) and edit the text etc. With a click box covering up the slide, triggering (Success event) the command 'Go to Next State', unchecking 'Continue Playing Project' you'll have everything in place: on the timeline you'll see the click box (keep its pause) and one object which has multiple states.

You can use either the timeline, or an action. Can you tell which version you are using? If it is Captivate 9, using the command 'Go to Next State' is the easiest way. You can trigger that command with an interactive object (can be a shape or a click box covering up the whole slide). You create the different speech bubbles (or only the content if you use the same bubble) in states.
BTW: changed the wording in your title, this is not about 'animation' at all, just appearance of the next object.
