Hi,
I am using Adobe Captivate 5.5. I have created a project recording the activity of data entry in an application form. At the time of recording the settings was such that "Keystrokes" check box and the "key tap" check box are selected. Now after publishing we get feedback to get rid of that key tap sound! Is it possible to do so in an existing project? If so how? Please explain!
With thanks and regards,
Krishna
Publish the project again, While publishing, click on preferences on the published window.
under Project - Published settings , uncheck 'Play tap audio for recorded typing'
click OK and publish the project
Thanks

Hi Aditya
I am having the opposite problem to P Krishna - I'm using Captivate 5 to record a software simulation and we want to hear the key tap sounds on recorded typing. I've got the following options selected, but there is no sound when previewed or published:
Settings: Keystrokes and Hear Hear Keyboard Taps Sounds both selected
Publish Settings: Play tab audio for recorded typing is selected.
On a different thread, (4751494) you suggested that it may be the Preferences causing the problem during FMR recording - I've tried renaming the Preferences folder but that didn't help.
Any suggestions would be very welcome!
Thanks
