Partially completed course starts again when accessing LMS

Hi Experts,

New question again.

I have created SCORM output 1.2 from CP9. I have 14 slides in Captivate which are having .mp4 videos inserted in it (using Media >> Video) and a few question slides at the end.

The output is uploaded on TalentLMS. Now if I partially complete the course - say, 7 videos seen. I log out of the course. And now, if I login again, Course starts from scratch.

Now the question is that, whether LMS has that feature to record status of the partially done course or Captivate has some setting?

I don't know if I have made any mistake in Captivate 9. Can you guys please help?

My client is after my life as course launch is already delayed due to several reasons.

Thanks in advance.

Did you test on SCORM Cloud to be sure that the problem is with Captivate and not with your LMS?

No, I haven't actually. I will test it and let you know.

Well, I got this as a result when tested on SCORM cloud. I can't really understand if that's fine or not.

To me it seems like no issue. But, How can I ensure that partially completed course will start from the point at which it was left or it will start from scratch.

Well, it gave me this message. Seems like my Captivate output has no issues.

But, I would like to get more information about this as I might have to convince client that my work is flawless. Any ideas, how can I convince them? Thanks!

This proves nothing is wrong with the SCORM setup in Captivate. It will be necessary to talk with the LMS-people concerning this issue. You can tell them that it works fine on SCORM Cloud which is the standard for SCORM/

Is 'Never Send Resume Data' checked?

If you want the course to resume on the next launch, it should not be checked.

Erik, it works fine on SCORM Cloud, setup is OK. I always start by asking to test first there. Did you miss that?
