Question

Pause and Resume

Hello,

I'm using Cp6 and am wondering how to set the Advnced Actions so that when the learner clicks the Pause button, which I created, the screen will pause and then when they click it again, the screen will resume.

I set it up to Pause just fine and it worked great.  But I'm having trouble figuring out the second part, when they click it again to have the screen continue playing.

Thanks for your help!

Or do you want a real toggle button: I mean where the user sees that the slide is paused or is playing

Lilybiri, In the example from Vish, the screen and the audio pause and then resume when I click the button again.  It seems to work pretty well.  So I guess I'm not quite understanding your question above.

Please clarify, thank you for resopnding as well.  It is really appreciated.

Your button will always have the same look, whether slide is paused or whether it is playing. There is a possibility to change the look of the button as well. That was my question.

In this article, which is not about pause/resume but about audio playing/stopping I explained some scenarios to create a 'real' toggle button.

You can create the following advanced action and assign it to the object. Please let me know if it helps.

    Thanks,
