Hi,
Can you add text to a blank slide without using text captions or any of the texts options listed under the T?

I suppose you could create an image with the text as part of the image, then put that on the slide.
Text Captions do offer a "Transparent" text caption where all you see is the text. I think you can accomplish the same thing using Smart Shapes too.
Why are you wanting to avoid using these objects?

Hello Rick,
I didn't want to use any of the content slides so I figured that I could
use the blank slide to create what I want but ... I did realize that you
can also make changes to the content slides.
