Pools randomized...(NOT questions in pools)

Hi All,

This may be out there in the forums and I may just not be searching correctly. A thousand pardons if this is already being discussed elsewhere. Just point me to it if it is and you have time. This is NOT about the random question slide or scrambling questions.

I have a single test made up of 30 pools for 15 subjects. The pools are each in a project because I need the Quiz results from each pool. The project is linked together. At the end, the final grade is made up of all the parts and summarized for a final overall grade. I'm also going to be showing the individual grades, and thanks to Lilibiri I found Tristan, Rod, and InfoSemantic which will help with some of this. In the end, the final grade and all the grades will be passed to an LMS.

In this test, there is a subject, and each subject has two parts. So Subject A has Part 1 and Part 2. Subject B has Part 1 and 2...and so on. Each user should get ONLY one Part of the Subject. I want to know if it's possible to have the test automatically randomly choose whether the user gets Part 1 or Part 2 for each subject.

Any thoughts are appreciated. If this is stupidly simple, I ask your forgiveness in advance! Sometimes I overthink these things.

Holly

Thank you! That may just work. It looks more hopeful than I thought it would be...and easier than I thought it might be. ;-) I don't want them to leave the pool once they are in that pool and in the end, only get the results screen for that pool that they just left. I'll study this for awhile and see what I can do with it. Thank you Rick (Captiv8r)! Appreciate it mucho! Mucho MUCHO!

Thank you!
