preloader - can I use a short video in it?

I watched a youtube on pre loaders and it said I could use a .swf vid.  I have not been successful in making this work.  Any suggestions?  Success stories?

Yes. Real simple go to Preferences->Start and End. Browse for a preloader you will be able to load any .swf file you may have created

I did all of this but it didn't publish.  I'm not sure what I'm missing.  It just cycled overnight and seemed to get hung up in the encoder.  I don't know how to get past this.  Thanks for your continued assist jeanrouge.

I think I had a similar problem when I first did it.

Can you try changing the preloader to a different SWF file (something real simple) and see what happens?
