Is Presenter 11.1 a stand alone program or an update to 11.0?

I suppose it is technically a stand alone. The Presenter 11.1 installer is different from the Presenter 11.0 installer and Presenter 11.0 must be uninstalled before installing Presenter 11.1.

It has to be bought separate from 11.0? I would have believed it would have been an update to 11.0 not on its own or named Presenter 12.

No, it doesn't have to be purchased. It is a free upgrade, but requires a new serial key. Just reach out to Adobe Support with your Presenter 11.0 key and they should get you a new one.

If you purchased Adobe Presenter today, you would get an 11.1 key, and no update/upgrade would be required.
