Pubishing Presenter 10 project to my computer

Can't publish Presenter 10 project to my computer with imported video files.  Tried both mp4 and swf

Are you getting an error? If so, what is the error?

Have you tried launching PPT with admin rights and see if that works?

Is the PPT saved on your C drive? If not, move it there (you may want to do a save as to ensure all the Presenter content comes with it) and see if it will publish as expected.

SWF video is a very different thing to deal with than MP4, FLV or any of the other supported video types. I would recommend that you don't use SWF for video assets.
