Publish captivate 2017 to an internal site

I am trying to upload a captivate module onto our company internal site - (atlassian.net) so employees can view the captivate modules. We do not have an LMS. I have published the HTML file but what do I need to upload for others to view the module? I uploaded the swf file but this will not work as not everyone is allowed flash player. If I publish to a zip file but when I upload onto our intranet it just opens the zip folder and displays all the files within. Or do I need to embed a link into a document or powerpoint and then it will work? But which link?

On another note, I will also need for some customers to view some of the captivate modules, so what is the best way I can do this? What links can I send to them?

Thanks.

Hi,

You can consider uploading the published folder content corresponding to the HTML5 publish to the root folder of your webserver and try accessing the link to the folder which you can consider sharing with others.

For the zip file you have uploaded put it inside a new directory (folder) and unzip the contents. Basically, the unzipped html5 content should be inside that folder. Try accessing this folder on your intranet and it should work fine.

Thanks,

Aditya

Upload the publish folder on your internal server. Do not zip. Then, hyperlink the index.html file. Avoid SWF.

Thanks for your responses. Unfortunately we have come across a further issue as this is in relation to deploying on a webserver. We don't own and have complete access to our intranet. It is back to the drawing board for our IT department. Thanks for letting me know about SWF as that was one of the ways we were going down.
