Published file will not start even when set to Auto Play

Adobe Captivate 9 project loaded to a web server as a "swf" does not load and auto play as set in the preferences.

     I have tried manually launching from the "html" file with no better success.

The first slide comes up approximately 50% 'grayed out' and waits for the Play button to be pressed.

The slide audio does start automatically so the timing is off.

Forcing a 'back' on the play bar controls allows the project to play normally.

Publishing as an "exe" file exhibits the same behavior.

This is a new install of Adobe Captivate 9.0.2.437.

I have tried setting the Adobe Flash to both 10 and 11 and get the same result.

Projects published with Adobe Captivate 7.2 on the same server start correctly.

Any suggestions?

Can you check if there is an action On Enter for the first slide? Is it possible to post a screenshot of the timeline of that first slide? Is it a 'heavy' slide: video, long audio (but the audio started playing, right?), lot of interactive objects with actions?

When you upload to a server, you need to upload all published files (4 in the case of SWF publishing) and launch the htm file. If you launch locally be sure to have set up the location as a Flash trusted one.

Thank you.

There are no actions on enter.

Approximately 30 seconds of audio with a single animation on a converted PowerPoint.

That was actually the problem.

The animation on the first slide was still set to "Click to start".

I had changing that one slide to "Start With" in the PowerPoint Animation.

My fault for overlooking the obvious!
