Publishing to .exe

I have recently upgraded to Adobe Captivate 6 (Mac) and find I can no longer publish captivate files created in Captivate 5.5 to .exe.  When I try to publish to .exe I get the 'publish failed' dialogue box.

Grateful for any help

    I have the same problems, that occurred after i got MAC CLEANER software, both version 5.5 and 6 get the error message "publish failed". I suspect is mac cleaner... if i got get an answer i will delete mac cleaner software or what to configure...?

    are you trying to publish to exe from mac ?

    Yes, we used Captivate 6 on our Macs but from the Macs, we should be able to publish to .exe and run the output on Windows machines.  New captivate sessions built since we upgraded to Captivate 6 export okay but any Captivate sessions we built using Captivate 5.5 will not publish to .exe

    Hi Richard,

    Before you try any cleaner tool, can you please let me know if that publish failed happens with your existing project which you created in Cp 5.5 and then upgraded to Cp 6 or it is with any project which you created in Cp 6 as well. If you haven't tried this, please create a project in Cp 6 and try publishing to to Windows Executable(.exe)
