Question on quiz types / options

Self-Taught Captivate 2019 (v11.5) instructor here... with what I feel is a basic question but I can't seem to land on the full answer.

We currently do not test or quiz; and I have not used any of the quiz features beyond simple multiple choice, etc.  We are looking to expand our testing capabilities, and I am looking specifically for a type of solution that will test user's ability to repeat steps on-screen (.e.g, click the right menu) and then move to the next phase, selecting the right options, etc.

I know I can create a multi-choice, yes/no, mix/match quiz.  But I was hoping something else was possible.   Because I lack the correct terminology, I feel like either this isn't possible, or I'm unable to find the correct answer.

Could someone assist?

Is there an ability to create a test that asks someone to select the menu item they would use to start a task, and then report correct/incorrect based on where they clicked on a screen?

I want to create steps that requires the test-tasker to mimic the movements required, and respond if they chose the wrong location, etc.

You cannot let a user execute a 'movement', but that may be a typo? It look like you could start with a Software simulation in Training or Assessment mode. You record what you want the user to do, and click boxes or Text Entry boxes will be added. You can edit the scores, add other test slides etc..

Maybe a link to part of an assessment I once created to find intermediate Captivate users could show better what I mean:

I think you did answer that what I was trying to do cannot be done the way I was imagined; thank you. I appreciate sharing the demo course as well.

I didn't have time to take the course today. I have too many meetings, but I will be reviewing it when my schedule clears.  I am somewhat fmiliar with the features you were demonstrating (although I want to search more into that Q option you added).  But, it doesn't do what management is hoping to achieve, but as I said, you confirmed what I'm looking to do is not available in the app.  Thank you.
