Question

Quiz at start and end

Hi

I am making a responsive project to train customers to use our products. What I WANT to do is start a unit with a quiz, then if they get it all right have a message to say that they can try the next level instead, or if they fail, to force them to the lessons.an alternative would be if it just told them what they got right / wrong and said to complete lessons to see if they can improve. I then want to ask the same questions at the end - tho praps not inn  same order- so they can check their progress. Id like to use the certificate Widget (or similar) connected to the second test. Is this even possible? The test - learn - test route seems popular on courses ive taken , so I'm hoping it is!

Cheers!

I don't really see the question except 'is that possible'? Yes, it is possible. you could use a pretest and a post test. But you didn't specify what has to be transferred to the LMS? Which Captivate version are you using?

Sorry, I thought Id put the version in ! 2017 version. Hosting on our website and not an LMs (probably)

So If I put in 2 quizes, will it just automatically score each separately? In one responsive project?

This may seem obvious to some but Im having to teach myself the software as I go along...... which is why I prob dont ask the questions in the correct way!

Where did you see that Captivate doesn't need a LMS?  You can report to an internal server, indeed, but it has been a while since Itested that. It is not the best way, collaboration between a LMS and an eLearning authoring tool is a better solution. My previous career was in a university college, and we used a LMS.

You can set up custom navigation, so that the learner never can go to the certificate slide if the final quiz is not passed.

I had a lot of conversations with representatives from Adobe and other companies. It was one of the questions I asked. aas told it was fine to host ourselves. If it HAS to be an LMS then it would prob be a free or low cost option such as moodle.

I will look into custom navigation, thank you.
