Quiz in continuous loop

I want a timed quiz which must be passed with 100% accuracy or the user is taken back to the directions slide 4 and forced to reenter each answer until all 20 are answered with 100% accuracy. When all 20 are answered with 100% accuracy, I want them to see the celebratory slide 27 which then closes the Captivate.

Each question slide options tab allows 30 seconds. This will get shorter once the bugs are out of this variation.

I've set the quiz preferences to return to slide 4 upon Fail. Each question slide (text entry, case dependent) continues if correct, jumps to slide 4 if fail.

Until you hit Preview or Publish.

Then, an incorrect answer takes you to Slide 4 and immediately to Slide 27. I've checked. Slide 4 says Continue. Changing it to jump to slide 5 has no effect.

Upping the number of attempts to 2 allows you to enter text, get it wrong, see error feedback, enter it wrong again, go back to slide 4 and land on Slide 27, rather than on Slide 5. If I up it to infinity, the foolish test taker never advances. The successful test taker loops from 4 to 5 to 4 to 27. He should loop 4 to 5 to 4 to 5 to 27. Or 4 to 5 to 4 to 5, 6, 7, etc. until an error then 4 to 5, 6, 7, and ultimately to 27.

It all looks great in Branching View. It simply doesn't function.

I'd sure appreciate some help. I've exhausted my resources here.

If you don't allow passing without a 100% correct, and allow the quiz summary slide's 'Retake Quiz' button...

Doesn't that do everything you need?

I think you may be trying to over-engineer the approach, which CP surely gets cranky with. Better to use the 'built-in' functionality...if that works for you.

If it doesn't, what do you need to happen that that native functionality doesn't offer?
