I just paid for Captivate 2019 Subscription service. I've had it before. 2017 is still on my MacbookPro.
After downloading, installing, and clicking "Launch", I got this error - "an error occurred during activation".
Does anyone know how to resolve? I close the error message window, and Captivate acts as if it it will open, then shuts down.
Hoping not to wait till tomorrow to call Adobe Tech support.

I have the same error as Ricco's screenshot, no detail in the message
I can access creative cloud and update and run all my other Adobe apps (full cloud suite, primarily Pr, Ae, Il, Ps) but cannot start up Captivate
any help would be appreciated

So what was the issue, as I having the same issue now myself. Is it just a re-load of the app? or other

It's been a while, but if I remember correctly, I had to sign out before installing and re-sign in after installation. But sign in before opening captivate after installation.
