Remove Playbar

Hi, I’m wondering if it’s possible to completely remove the playbar from one particular slide (first slide of the project) opposed to just hiding it?

No, but why would you want to do that? If it is hidden, it is not available to the user in the published course. The only difference with 'removing' would be that the border, the space needed for the playbar would disappear. That would mean that the height of slides would change, which is probably not possible and would also be very weird. If you want not to see that border, you can choose for Playbar i Overlay. However: that means that you have to take precautions not to use the space needed for the playbar on slides. If you use Captivate 9 I'd recommend to use a Guide to mark that not to be used space.

The reason is slide 2 has a video. So when it starts the playbar has already moved along. I want the playbar to start from 0 on slide 2. The other reason is it briefly appears whilst slide 1 is loading which doesn't look very good.

That will not be possible, because the progress bar in the default playbar always starts at the beginning of the project, and its duration is the duration of the project. If you want such changes, you'll have to create a custom playbar.

You can only HIDE or REMOVE the playbar skin altogether.
