I have been having an issue with using HTML5 for exams. Within the captivate module I can score a 100% but the reported score is 8%. This only happens when publishing to HTML5. Flash publishing works fine. With the big push to move away from Flash this has recently become a big issue. Thanks! Scot
Here are my quiz settings.

Some LMS's have issues with scores above 100 points, although you ask to report a score in %.
Could you try to change the scores to get the maximum score below 100? Use the Advanced Interaction panel (F9) which is linked automatically to the Properties panel of the scored object or question slide you select in that panel.
Did you try to upload the HTML version to SCORM Cloud for testing?

Unfortunately that did not seem to do the trick. I tried changing the point total to equal 100 exactly and then again so it reported less than 100 points. Neither seemed to have an effect.
The funny thing is that the score that reports seems to be the equivalent of one question regardless of the actual score achieved in the module. I completed the exam twice and received a 100% and 40%. When I had 12 questions it was consistently scoring 8% (1 of 12).Once I removed 2 questions the score kept returning 10%
Scorm cloud seemed to check out the best I can tell.
Here is a screenshot from the advanced interaction window.
Thanks again,
Scot

Sorry, did you check it on SCORM Cloud?

Yes. Seemed to work okay but not really sure what I am looking for.

Did you delete any embedded objects on the quiz slides (or master slides)? You can recognize those objects because they do not have an individual timeline: not on the master slide, not on the normal slides.
In case the project is getting corrupted, could you do a quick test: copy/paste some of the quiz slides to a new blank project with the same resolution and check if you have the same weird behavior?

Thanks for all the help thus far. Here is the latest. 1) I have to report points not percentages for it to take. 2) Everything seemingly works fine if published with the criteria of "Quiz is passed" When I try to use the other two options, it reports an incorrect score. If I use "Quiz is passed or the quiz attempt limit is reached" option the score reports as 12%. This just so happens to the point value for each question rounded. For "Quiz is attempted", it returns a score of zero. Any ideas on how to get the other two options to work?
Thanks again,
Scot

Interesting discovery. The module works if I publish to 2004 instead of 1.2. Any ideas what could be done to get it to function in 1.2?

Indeed, great discovery. The jungle of the LMS's is not easier to understand than the jungle of the browsers/devices for HTML5.
