Scrolling Text Widget Not working without LMS

I'm using the scrolling text widget and I am having a problem. I have a version that will be used outside of an LMS and it's not working. In the LMS it works but locally it doesn't.

It's blank. Is there a way to see the widget when viewing from my desktop.

Also, when I go to preview project it works but not when I click in index_scorm.html to open the project.

Please Jay, offer the full version number as found under Help, About Captivate.

First question: I hope you used the Learning Interaction 'Scrolling Text' because in 11.5 it is still possible to use the old widget but that one is not compatible with HTML output. However since you tell that it works on the LMS, that will be OK.

HTML output is never meant to be viewed locally. The only situation when it almost always be functional is immediately after publishing (without zipping) the project, when you get the invite to view it locally. Do not try another time by clicking the index.html file. You need to upload the published project to a webserver, which you can install locally or you can use one like on AWS. Whether you need to zip the output depends on the webserver. I don't have to zip when uploading to a subdomain, but the server used in the eLearning community requires zipped output.
