Sizing Master slide background in responsive projects

Hi

New to Captivate 9 and despite hours searching I can't seem to solve these issues with a responsive project:

- I've inserted a background image (16:9) to the master slide but it leaves spaces at top and bottom. What size or proportion should the background image be?

- The background image includes a logo which is squashed in the mobile portrait and tablet portrait - is there an alternative way to prevent logo distortion?

Appreciate any help or pearls of wisdom.

For your first question: it depend on the resolution you did choose for the project in Primary view: if it is a 4:3 ratio, make sure that you edit the image at that ratio. Best practice is to give it exactly the size (width and height in pixels) that is needed for the Primary view. You can edit images in Captivate (also cropping).

As for the logo: it would be better to insert it separately as an image. Be sure to set width to a % and height to Auto (Position properties), which will keep the ratio width/height fixed. For logos you could also choose for a fixed size in some of the breakpoint views, or give a minimum size to keep it visible even in very low browser resolutions.
