I imported slides from PP and checked the advance automatically button. Some do, some don't. Those with text animation seem to be the problem...they stop. What do I need to do to fix that?

Can you check the PPT, how is timing set up there? No click needed? Did you check High Fidelity when importing? And which version are you using, please?

I'm using PP for Mac 2011. So no Hi Fi. Timing in PP is set up to advance "using timings"
When I play it in PP it does advance acccording to the timings.
Thanks...

Hi there
When you import (assuming Mac is similar or same to PC version here) on the import dialog is an option that governs how slides advance. Look at the one below:

You need to ensure that the option shown above is selected.

yes, I did that...and they do go automatically unless there's text animation on the slide....

I'm inserting a screen shot of the slide where the automatic advance stops...again it has text animations.... I don't see a click box or any other button stopping it.

Question here.
When you play this slideshow in PPT, does it also stop at that point and wait for a keypress before animation or progress continues? (My guess is that you will discover it does)
If so, you need to configure the slide show in PPT so it doesn't wait for a mouse click to proceed.

No in PP it advances when the animation is completed...
Thanks for any help. I'm puzzled why it isn't advancing.
