Special effects?

Hi everyone,

My new client asked if I knew how to add special effects like flickering fire using Captivate. She specifically mentioned Captivate 9 and that there are YouTube videos of this, but I looked into it and didn't see anything.

I'm certainly no Captivate expert, but from what I've seen there are just some basic shapes, animations, etc.

Does anyone know what she might be referring to?

Thanks!

I don't know about flickering fire but I made some videos about the improved effects and motion paths in Adobe Captivate 9. Captivate 2017 has the same set of effects. Here are some examples of that.

Or you could create an animated GIF like this one we did in Adobe Animate.

It has 15 frames and is set to loop forever. It's about 55 kb.

You will need an external animation, indeed, this cannot be done with the

Effects coming with Captivate. You can also find animated GIF's on the web,

sometimes for free. Alternative is an OAM, which is a HTML animation.
