Style options have disappeared

I inserted a smartshape rectangle onto a slide and the only options being given to me for changes are the shape and the opacity.  Color, stroke, gradient options have all disappeared.  How do I get them back?

Not sure. How they come back. This happens to me frequently. I just click around on other panels or reopen the file. It comes back eventually!

Yeah, I had to close the program and reopen it.  That's really weird.... and annoying.  Thanks though.

Hello Rod,

I have cleared the cache, renamed the file, removed the widgets and drag and drops and there are no transitions between the slides...all the usual suspects. I went into the Knowledge Checks and changed a few things around, like the numbering, and it work once. Then back to one click and forward to next slide. I have to present this project tomorrow, so I will delete and recreate all of them. The usual when there is a deadline.

As always, I appreciate any thoughts on the subject. Anxiously waiting for CaptivateExtra!
