the localizing text captions in captivate 9 is not working ...

.After export > Project captions and Closed Captions, I change text translation, saved, and then import > Project captions and closed captions ---> the result is none.

    I'm afraid that could be the issue. Word 2010 is compatible with CP8 (tested it out this week during a training for CP!), personally I am using Word 365 with CP9. Your version is old. I cannot double-check, no longer have Office 2007 (10yrs old).

    That work flow often has some issues, depending on the version of Word used. You didn't offer that information.

    Some tips to start with: do not give up, try again. Sometimes it helps when you close Word after saving the file and before importing into the CPTX-file. Do not change the name of the cptx nor the word file when using this work flow.
