Hi guys, I'm new in captivate.
I'm trying to add interactions on a video but I find a big problem. When I move over the timeline the video I have imported doesn't refresh!
I mean...I only can see the very first fame of the video, even if I move over the timeline!

How can I fix it?

Thanks
Michelle

Yes, I know that is annoying. This would be my workflow:

    • Play the slide with the Play button in the Timeline panel
    • Pause the slide where you want to insert the button, although you'll again see the first frame, the playhead will remain on the frame where you paused
    • Insert the button : its timeline will start where the playhead paused.
    • Continue the video with the Play button, pause it where you want the button timeline to end, and drag the end of the button timeline to that frame.

Alternative is to insert the buttons from the start. Play the slide and pause as described above. Select the button and use CTRL-L to have its start aligned with the paused playhead.

Have a problem understanding your question. Are you talking about a video

inserted in a Captivate slide? If yes, how did you insert it: as event

video or as synchronized video? Event video plays totally independent of

    Captivate's slide timeline.

    Hi Lilybiri.
yes is a video inserted in a captivate slide. And I inserted it as a synchronized video!
I want to put a couple of buttons at a certain time, so I play the video to find the correct place but when I stop it, it shows the first frame of the clip and not the actual frame in which I stop!
