Turning narration off

New Here ,

Is it possible to record narration for an Adobe Captivate tutorial that the user can opt out of? I don't want them to just turn the sound off, as there are other sound elements to the tutorial, but I recognize that not everyone wants to be read to. Thanks for your help!

It depends how you insert the audio. If it is slide audio, the only way to cut it out is indeed to stop all audio. If you add narration using 'Audio objects' or using the Play Audio command you could have a conditional action that hides the audio objects, or that Stops Triggered audio.
