Question

Using normal quiz question instead of pretest as pretest disable play bar options

Hi

I am working on a project in which i have to include a pretest but unfortunately this is disabling some of the buttons in my play bar. I have replaced the pretest by a normal quiz question consisting of 2 answers and execute an advance action to enable the project to take different routes based on the answer the user picks.

The problem i have with this though is that my quiz result slide is adding the points for this question to the total points scored of my project's quiz which i don't want it to do and secondly it is also becoming part of the questions that are reviewed when clicking on review quiz button on the quiz result slide.

I am trying to find a way to make this a separate question whose points does not get added to the total points of the project's quiz result and also does not get reviewed when the user wants to review his quiz.

Can anyone help please???

Many thanks

You can indicate not to add the score of those questions to the total

score, but some quizzing system vars will still count them. Score and

percentage will be OK. Or you can create custom question slides, using

standard objects/widgets for the questions that do not have to be scored.

Hi Lilybriri

Thank you for your prompt reply.

How do i indicate not to add the score of those questions to the total score?

Thanks

In the reporting part of the properties panel, uncheck reporting for those questions. Do not forget to check in Advanced Interaction panel (F9) if the Total score is correct.
