Is this possible???

if is possible can I control

the timing of the text window thats appears after users click on some butttons???

for example to be showed 6 seconds instead of 2 or 3 that is is doing normal???

then just some very basic question

if I get the app from adobe

Im allowed to install the app in two computers ( laptop and home station )

Im using a mac book pro and a normal PC at home...

Kind regards

Pedro

Hi Pedro.  Yes, it is possible to add audio to a click box, but you have to add it to the success and/or failure captions.  So if the click box is clicked, the success caption appears.  And if you select the success caption, look at the Property inspector in the Timing and Audio sections.  In the Timing section you can extend the Display For to a longer time.  In the Audio section you can attach audio to the success caption as well.  The audio will play when the success caption is displayed to the student.  Or if they click in the wrong place, the failure caption will appear and play its audio.  If you want audio only, just make the success or failure caption transparent and do not add any text.

The failure caption will work the same way.

As far as your second question is concerned, I think that's the way the license agreement reads, but I'm no legal expert.  I'd suggest you ask Adobe about that.

Hello Pedro.  I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question.  Can you explain in more detail?

Im sorru mister C

my bad english again

OK

thanks to you I manage to

add voice to clicks and even to the text box with suggestions

( or advice ) I dont know how you got it in english version

but when I see the presentations

the voice of the suggestions is repeating every time I move the cursor

next tho the buttons ( witch is not bad ) but it doesnt look professional

So I wll like to order that this voice ( from the suggestion )

play just one time and not more

it doesnt matter that users move the cursor 100 times there

the text box will appear but the voice just one time

But I dont know if will be possible

thank you Mister C

MIster P

Ah, I think I understand now.  I assume you have added a voice to the Hint Caption for the click box.  Unfortunately, the hint caption will appear each time the mouse pointer gets near the click box.  And each time it appears, its audio will play.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of a way to prevent that from happening with a click box.  I might suggest an alternative though.  Consider using a rollover slidelet instead of a click box.  The rollover slidelet, along with some advanced actions, can cause a caption to appear when the user rolls their mouse over it.  The advanced actions could count how many times the mouse is rolled over and show the text caption only 1 time, or some number of times that you program into it.  You could show the caption with the audio the first time, and show a different caption with no audio after that.

I suggest you investigate the blogs and tutorials that discuss advanced actions and user variables.  I think those techniques will do what you want.

Mister C.
