Are there any fonts that you use on a regular basis for your e-Learning presentations using Adobe Captivate?
Do you tend to use Sans Serif fonts or Serif fonts?
I would love to hear your suggestions.
Thanks

Screen reading seems to be easier with sans serif fonts for texts. That is just the opposite as for print reading. I am now talking about eLearning, where very long texts are not to be encouraged. Be sure to use websafe fonts or Typekit fonts, so that all users will see the same font.

Your font selection is depending on your company or you customers brand id description. Most companies have between two to three fonts that have been approved by their brand department.
(From Fonts.com website)
Serif typefaces have historically been credited with increasing both the readability and reading speed of long passages of text because they help the eye travel across a line, especially if lines are long or have relatively open word spacing (as with some justified type).
For shorter text settings – such as captions, credits, column headings, as well as text in charts and graphs – a sans serif typeface can be a good choice. Its simplified letter forms are unencumbered by serifs, which can impede the readability of characters at very small sizes.
