When I press the retake button it jumps to the last question

I've build a test for a customer. The test only contains random questions. When I click on the retake button it goes to the last question instead of the first.

When I insert a mandatory question before the random questions it works fine. Is it a bug or?

Can you give some more details, please? Which version are you using (exact version number)? Are the random questions scored or not? I am asking this question because you talk about a 'mandatory' question, not sure what you mean by that. I am not a native English speaker, to me mandatory means that the learner has to take that question, which would mean that the random questions don't have to be taken and in that case probably are not scored.

How are the Quiz preferences set up? You have multiple attempts, since you have a Retake button. The default design is that the Retake button takes you to the first scored object in the course, which can be an interactive object or a question slide but it has to be scored.

It is the latest version of Captivate 9 (sorry I forgot, that the 2017 is out). My colleague runs 2017, and the same issue still appears.

The pool where the questions are pulled from is set to add 10 point for a correct answer. A mandatory question is when you place the concrete question on the time line as a slide. A random question is when you say it should draw x-number of question from the pool. In my case 21 draws. I think you already knows

But it jumps directly to number 21 of 21 (it is not a problem to draw a "new" random question from the pool). Next page is the result page.

I just did a quick test in 9.0.2.437 and in CP2017, and the Retake button did work as expected., jumped to the first random slide  That makes giving you an answer difficult. Could you repeat my test in a new project, eventually use only a couple of random slides (you can use the same pool) to see if you can reproduce the problem or not? If the problem is the same, it may be that Captivate is corrupted and I would suggest to clean the Preferences. If you cannot reproduce the problem, can you please answer all the questions​ I added in my first answer?
