When in preview, Captivate 9 quiz alignment is OFF

I have created T/F and MC questions that look perfectly fine in the filmstrip view, but when I go to preview the quiz, the alignment of the answer bubbles and the corresponding answers is off.  See the two clips below.  First is filmstrip view, second is preview.  I cannot figure out why or how to adjust.  Thank you.

Can you check the exact version number? It should be 9.0.2.437.

I had a previous version, but updated it to 9.0.2.437 and the alignment issue is still there.

Also, when I worked with Adobe help on chat yesterday, it looked better when previewed in HTML, but whenever there was more than two answer choices, the answer bubbles were off, meaning the third one would bump down so there was a blank space and the 3rd bubble was on the 4th answer, the 4th bubble would be below the 4th answer.

Which theme do you use? Is this theme created in the present version or an updated theme?

I believe it is "Chic", created in an older version, updated this morning.

Just as a test, could you switch to a theme that is original to this version of Captivate to see if the misalignment is still present?

I did, and this is the view in preview.... Still not aligned, but misaligned differently.

That is the White theme, correct?

Can you insert a new T/F slide from that theme, without changing anything to the Quiz master slide for T/F?

Inserted a t/f slide (from the "Clear" theme) and the alignment is fine... see below

This means your original problems are due to the customizing or upgrading of the theme. Something has gone awry, probably in the quiz master slide used here. Quiz slides always have been very sensitive to upgrades, because they have so much embedded objects and functionality.  That doesn't help you of course, I'm so sorry. By testing you only proved that the native theme in this version of CP doesn't suffer from the misalignment. What happens to this new T/F slide if you now apply the custom theme again?

Thank you so much for trying to help so far.  I "reset master slide" in my project, but it did not change the alignment issue.  All I did to the master slide originally was change color and font.

Also, when I add a new t/f or MC quiz slide in my current project, it maintains the alignment problem.  When I added a quiz slide to the new blank project it was ok.

I also deleted all my existing quiz slides, changed the theme, and added 10 quiz slides to the project.  It STILL misaligns the answers

One thing I sometimes find that will fix issues like this is to select one of the misaligned answer captions and check the Style Name for it.

If the presence of a + character in front of the Style Name does seem to suggest select the style applied to the caption has been altered, then use the Reset Style option in the drop down box to the right of the Properties > Style Name label.to reset it again.

I find that often fixes misalignment issues for answer captions in Matching and Multi-choice/Multi-answer/True or False quiz questions.

But your mileage may vary.
