Why won't my animation play?

In Captivate 7, I have an animation with audio that I only want to appear when the user clicks the click box. I have the timeline paused until user clicks and an advanced action that says to show the animation and play the audio. But when I preview, the audio plays, but not the animation. I've tried with the click box pausing before the animation and with the click box pausing later on, nothing works. I had it working but I changed the picture and now it won't play correctly. What am I doing wrong? Also, I can't get it to advance to the next slide now. Help!

Why not just put Continue in the Click box action? If the animation is visible in output, it will play when the start of its timeline is reached, which will happen with Continue. An advanced action doesn't move the playhead at all, that is the reason why the animation is not playing. Whereas audio will play. Add the statement 'Continue' to your action.  You don't even have to hide the animation at all, just start it at the pausing point of the click box.

It worked! Thank you so much! I was overcomplicating it.

Understand the Timeline, imagine that some trainers tell that Timeline is not necessary?
