Captivate 8 tincan.xml file only contains the launch activity. I am expecting activities for every slide. Am I missing a publish setting?

I am expecting the published captivate tincan.xml file to include activities for every slide.  The published captivate file does send tincan requests as expected but it is referencing activity ID's that I have no way of referencing.  Is the project.json file suppose to define these objects?

How are slides/activities metadata supposed to be parsed and stored upon upload to a LMS?  The project.json file clearly defines every slide and object but it is sorely missing the tincan object ids.  Are there plans to link these two?
