Captivate & Authorware Audio Quality/Level

Hello. I am working on an Authorware program that contains Captivate screenshots for an online training course. For the entire lesson, there are mp3 narrations playing in each slide in Authorware, which was recorded in a voice over room all at the same time. When I import the mp3 narration into Captivate, edit the track, and publish the Captivate file that will be incorporated into Authorware, the audio quality between the Captivate and Authorware is significantly different. Captivate has a more “full” tone than the original track in Authorware. Is there a way to get a consistent level quality between the two programs?

If you are noticing the difference between the audio quality in the .cp
file and the published .swf file, that is due to the compression when
publishing the movie. You can choose a couple audio settings from
Captivate's publish dialog (AM, FM, CD - I think they are).

The higher the quality, they bigger the final .swf, of course. You may
never get published audio that sounds exactly as good as the source
audio but you should be able to get close, especially if you don't mind
    large file sizes.

If you're noticing the difference in audio quality between a published
.swf played outside Authorware and within Authorware, that's a different
issue and one I've not experienced. One thing I'd suggest is ensuring
the Flash sprite I assume you used to bring in the SWF is set to 'Direct
    to Screen/Stage'.
