CP9 VTT - How do I get "Valid Verification File"?
Hello.
Can anyone PLEASE tell me where I can get a "valid verification file" for the Voice To Text (VTT), VTML editor that installs WITH the CP9 voices? Each time you try to adjust the voice files, the voice tells you that you are using an unlicensed version and cannot legally use them unless you have a "valid verification file". WTH? Why would Adobe do this?
In the editor, if you select Help --> About - you get this;
When you click the link shown at the bottom of the window, you get this:
WTH? What CD key? The VTML editor comes with, and installs with, the CP9 voices of Bridget, Chloe, James, Julie, Kate, Paul and Yumi.
I called Adobe Customer Support as I/we are Adobe CP9 customers, they had no idea what I was talking about. They told me to contact NeoSpeech. So, I called them. Neospeech had no idea what I was referring, or even what CP9 was but offered to sell me a server license for $5000.00 to use the voices that installed.
I am confused. These voices are offered for free as an addon/upgrade for CP9. The VTML editor comes with the install of these voices.
Does anyone here know how to solve this? I can't be the only person that's come across this and it is very frustrating.
