Creating Animated Characters (Avatars) using Fuse/Mixamo for Captivate

I am creating a webinar using Captivate 2017. I would like to incorporate the use of an animated avatar with simple hand gestures and talking using pre-recorded narration (MP3 audio files). So....my question is this.
Q: Can I create a character in Fuse, upload to Mixamo to animate and import it in Captivate 2017 to use as an avatar?
I can't find much information about this. Seems most animated programs out there just aren't used for this purpose but it would be really great if there is. Any character created would need to have a transparent background so it can be overlaid on my screens in Captivate 2017. Thanks.

Interesting idea. I used to use Codebaby for clients to create animated avatars. It was output to a flash video format. However with the lack of transparency in mp4 when converted to mp4 to work in html5 lost the transparency so have been looking for a replacment. My son who is a game developer uses Unity and Maya but I might have him look at Fuse and Mixamo. The problem that I see from a quick look is a file output format that would work in Captivate to support transparency.

David, AFAIK Fuse is still in Beta, and there is not much noise about it lately. Heard about some problems with MIXAMO as well. I played with Fuse, was fun but none of the output formats could be used in Captivate.

When I was in Washington last year there was some buzz about Unity and Captivate - That also seems to have died down - are you aware of anything else in this area.
