Question

difference in previewing in HTML5 and publishing in HTML5

I've developed a project where all slides in the film strip look great, it displays in Preview in HTML5 great, but when I publish to HTML5 (not preview), the display is messed up.  Columns are not lined up, overlays of pictures do not display correctly etc...

Hmmm... which exact version are you using (under Help About Captivate) on which OS?

Did you upload the published version to a webserver or a LMS (if it is a SCO)?

Are you talking about a responsive project or a non-responsive project? Which browsers did you test? Are the fonts websafe or Adobe fonts?

    Hi Lilybiri,

    I'm using the following:

    Captivate 2019, v 11.5.1.499

It's a Responsive Template from FasterCourse

Not published to an LMS, simply previewing/publishing to our computer using Edge Browser, tried Chrome as well.

    Using verdana and arial fonts.

    Thank you !!

In that case, can you ask the author (FasterCourse)? It probably is not a cptl file which is a template file, but maybe something is wrong with their Fluid Boxes, or you have caused a problem by editing? Or it  was created for an older version?

BTW you are not on the most recent version which is 11.5.5.553.
