Question

Fonts changing from sans serif to serif (Project designed in Adobe Captivate 9 and hosted on Moodle 3.3.1)

Hello Adobe Community,

I have created my e-learning training course using Adobe Captivate 9, and I am currently using the font Arial for my project. However, different clients see the text as a sans serif instead of Arial; the serif font looks similar to Times New Roman. The project is published as an SCORM and is temporarily being hosted on Moodle (the final project will be hosted by the client).

When I view my project through Moodle (using Google Chrome) and Adobe Captivate I am seeing the correct fonts. However, the clients have provided screen shots with the typeface appearing differently (they are using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome and are also viewing it through Moodle).

I have been told that this is not a Moodle issue, and I am having troubles finding a solution.

Using a consistent typeface is crucial to the design of the project.

Thank you.

Dynamic text (including variables) or static text? Reponsive or normal

project.? Are users on Mac or Windows?

    Hi Lilybiri,

The project is responsive (more than likely it will be changed to a normal project later on). I am using a Mac, however, the clients may be using either Mac or Windows.

    The text is also static.

You cannot change a responsive to a normal project. I fear that Mac-Win

conflict with fonts is culprit. Cannot you use typekit?
