HTML5 Animation Error?

Hello, I'm really hoping someone can help. We work with a 3rd party vendor and that provides games for us to use within our year trainings, and when I upload them under Media > HTML5 animation, I get the message "Connection Lost!" Close and reopen the training to continue.

Any idea what can be causing this?

Is this third-party company supplying these animations to you as OAM files or ZIP files?

Are they originally created in Adobe Captivate, or some other application?

Hi Rod,

They're ZIP files. They were not origianally created in Adobe Captivate. I'm not sure what program they used. Thanks!

You need to find out which app was being used to create these ZIP files.  Otherwise we won't be able to help you debug this issue

I realise the animations were not created with Adobe Captivate.  I was asking if they were created with Adobe ANIMATE.  That's the Adobe app usually used for animation.  If the supplier is using Animate, then they should be able to publish their game out as an OAM file.  This is compatible with Captivate and can be inserted as an animation.  An OAM is really just a renamed ZIP file too, but inside the ZIP archive are some extra files that help Captivate understand what the package contains.

If the ZIP files you have been given are not created with Animate, they may still be able to be made compatible, but you will likely need more information from your suppliers in order to know what is required.
