Question

LMS registering SCORM completion upon launch, regardless of SCORM quiz settings.

Hello all,

I've seen a few questions similar to mine but haven't come to any conclusions. We are working with Adobe Captivate 2017 and using Saba Halogen as our LMS. We want to track the completions but as soon as the user launches the SCORM, they're given a completion status. We have tried each quiz/reporting setting in multiple combinations. We've even tried a forced 100% quiz slide and nada. It doesn't make much sense why no matter what we set, they will receive a completion status. We've tried these variations along with different settings in the LMS and still we get "completed" upon launch. Does anyone have suggestions or possibly a solution to this issue?

Same problem here, except with Talent LMS.  I can either import SCORM 1.2 zip files as multiple units and the moment the user starts the course, it considers them completed.  I even imported the SCORM as a single file but that has the opposite effect of considering the person as 0% completed and doesn't save their answers even if they reach the end of the course.

What is really needed is the ability to import SCORM 1.2 zip files directly into Captivate so we can put in the milestones, the time marks, and the scoring to ensure that even as a single SCORM connector import in the LMS system, they give us the right progress and completion triggers.

JB, I use Talent LMS too. It's been problem free for me regarding SCORM. iSpring have created a handy page for uploading content into Talent LMS. See below the settings I used before uploading

Hope this helps.

These settings would mean the LMS would mark the module as complete after the learner viewed only 5 slides.

Is that all you really require for successful completion?

Rod, thanks for the prompt reply. This is a screenshot from a sample module. I was just showing the settings I used that worked in Talent LMS.
